Carbon materials, with their unique properties such as high hardness, high wear resistance, and excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, have wide applications in numerous fields. From aerospace to electronics, from new energy to chemical machinery, carbon materials are ubiquitous. However, fine processing is crucial to fully leverage the advantages of carbon materials.

The working principle of the vertical grinder is based on a highly efficient grinding mechanism. The carbon material liquid-solid mixture, after pre-dispersion and wetting treatment, is fed from the bottom of the grinding cylinder by a feed pump and stirred together with the grinding media in the grinding cylinder by a high-speed rotating stirring shaft. In this process, the solid particles in the carbon material and the grinding media produce strong shearing and impact effects, thus achieving the fine grinding of particles and the dispersion of aggregates.
The vertical grinder adopts a screen-less design, which greatly reduces the risk of mechanical seal leakage and screen blockage. This is particularly important for processing ultra-hard and wear-resistant materials like carbon materials, ensuring that the equipment can operate stably for a long time, reducing maintenance costs and downtime. Through the centrifugal separation function, fine particulate materials can be discharged from the grinding chamber in time to avoid over-grinding; large particles continue to be ground in the grinding chamber until the required fineness is reached, resulting in a uniform final product with a narrow particle size distribution, greatly improving the quality of the carbon material.
Taking silicon carbide as an example, silicon carbide materials have a series of excellent properties such as high hardness, high rigidity, and high-temperature resistance, and are widely used in high-tech fields such as semiconductors and new energy. The vertical grinder, with its special design, can easily cope with the ultra-hard characteristics of silicon carbide, achieving nano-level ultra-fine grinding to meet the stringent requirements of these high-end fields for material precision.
For graphite processing, it can efficiently refine graphite raw materials to the required particle size range, ensuring the uniformity and stability of the product, and meeting its application needs in different fields such as battery electrodes and lubricants. In carbon fiber processing, the vertical grinder helps to improve the surface quality and performance of carbon fibers, providing strong support for the preparation of high-performance carbon fiber composite materials.
