Raw coal processing is divided into two stages: coarse crushing and ultrafine grinding. Conventional crushers rely solely on compression for coarse crushing, with limited capability to reduce particles to the micron scale. As a result, most production lines must be equipped with secondary grinding units, leading to higher capital investment and increased dust‑related losses during material handling.

The vertical cell mill integrates crushing, shearing, and grinding functions, enabling in-depth processing of coarse‑crushed raw coal. Once lump‑shaped materials enter the chamber, a turbine generates multi‑stage impact and shear forces, simultaneously achieving both large‑piece fragmentation and fine particle size reduction, thereby streamlining the coal‑powder preparation process. The inner lining is made of wear‑resistant alloy, and wear parts can be replaced without disassembling the entire unit, minimizing downtime for maintenance.
The equipment is available in dry and wet configurations, with switching capability based on the raw coal’s moisture content, making it suitable for on-site pulverization at mining sites or centralized slurry preparation at chemical plants. Its enclosed, negative-pressure operation minimizes coal dust emissions, making it an optional upgrade for raw coal pulverization lines.
