Coal-water slurry is a key feedstock for coal-to-olefins and synthetic ammonia production. Coarse particles in the slurry exacerbate wear on gasifier nozzles, while conventional grinding equipment lacks sufficient shear force, making it difficult to fully disperse agglomerated particles. Moreover, the slurry tends to settle and stratify during storage, thereby compromising process stability.

The stirred‑cell mill is a vertical ultrafine grinding device that employs multi‑layer circulating agitation to reduce the proportion of large particles in the slurry. Its bottom‑in, top‑out circulation design repeatedly grinds coal powder, optimizing particle sphericity and enhancing slurry flowability. The equipment can be retrofitted downstream of an existing ball mill for secondary fine grinding, with minimal modifications required to the production line.

The complete equipment package is equipped with an automated control system that enables precise adjustment of grinding parameters, extending the stable storage life of coal slurry.
