Fly ash ultrafine powder exhibits significant agglomeration; wet fly ash, after drying, forms hard lumps. Conventional equipment employs a two‑step process—drying followed by disintegration—during which material handling often leads to re‑agglomeration, resulting in insufficient contact between the additive and the powder and substantial fluctuations in product quality. Consequently, the value‑added potential of fly ash products remains constrained.

The honeycomb grinding and deagglomeration machine is integrated with a powder dryer: after wet fly ash is fed in, hot air dries it; the deagglomeration rotor breaks up and dries any agglomerates; simultaneously, additives are injected to achieve surface coating. The resulting powder is uniformly dispersed, delivering more stable performance when used as a building material or chemical filler.

The vertical‑type unit features a compact footprint and is equipped with a fully automated material‑handling control system, minimizing the need for manual supervision and making it ideal for centralized fly‑ash modification projects in mining areas. The equipment operates quietly and incorporates negative‑pressure dust collection, meeting green‑production standards for mines. A single unit can replace three separate machines—drying, dispersing, and modifying—thereby reducing overall costs for equipment, plant space, and operations and maintenance.
