Wet grinding generates both coal powder and fly ash filter cake, but both suffer from high moisture content and severe agglomeration. Conventional approaches require separate drying, de‑agglomeration, and coating equipment, leading to material losses during multiple handling operations, a complex production‑line layout, and elevated labor‑intensive operating costs, which significantly complicates implementation in small- and medium-sized mining areas.

The honeycomb dryer integrates coating and disintegration functions, allowing wet filter cakes to be fed directly. Hot air dries the material, a disintegrating wheel breaks up agglomerates, and simultaneous chemical coating is performed, enabling the entire process to be completed in a single pass within a short time. A negative-pressure, fully enclosed air‑sweeping system captures dust, preventing any dust emissions from the workshop and ensuring compliance with environmental inspection standards.
The equipment features adjustable processing capacity; compact benchtop models are suited for laboratory-scale samples, while larger units are designed to integrate with multi‑ton‑per‑day modification production lines, catering to powder‑processing facilities in coal mines and chemical plants. With a high degree of automation, the system enables fully automated feeding, modification, and discharge, minimizing manual intervention and ensuring stable control of operating costs.
