Coal mining generates substantial amounts of coal gangue, which, when stockpiled in open pits, can lead to dust pollution and land occupation. Fine grinding represents the mainstream approach for the resource recovery of this solid waste. Conventional pulverizers produce coal gangue with a wide particle-size distribution, resulting in a mixture of coarse and fine powders that can compromise the performance of downstream building-materials applications.

The vertical stirred mill features an optimized chamber design, with multi‑stage turbines simultaneously delivering impact, shear, and ultrafine grinding. Large pieces of coal gangue can be processed in a single pass into a uniform fine powder, producing material suitable for use as a cement filler or a coal‑chemical auxiliary. Compared with horizontal equipment, the vertical configuration saves valuable plant floor space.
The equipment is equipped with a water‑circulation cooling system that precisely controls the temperature of the wet‑processing chamber, preventing high‑temperature agglomeration of the powder. The grinding media exhibit stable wear characteristics, making it well suited for long‑term continuous operation. It can be integrated with automated conveying and classification units to enable fully automated feeding, grinding, and discharge, while its negative‑pressure dust collection system is ideal for solid‑waste remediation projects in mining areas.
