Ultrafine Powder Grinding: Retrofit of the Vertical Mill on the Coal Slurry Production Line


Most existing coal mines and coal‑chemical facilities equipped with ball mills have long suffered from insufficient pulverization fineness and relatively high specific energy consumption. Completely replacing the entire production line entails high procurement costs, extensive plant‑modification work, and a prolonged commissioning timeline.
Adding a vertical cell mill to the downstream end of the existing ball mill is a common retrofit solution.
